CONCRETE MEASURES

Reusable packaging on the products
We use reusable pallets and pallet frames as our only packaging. Pallets and pallet frames are made of wood, which is a renewable material. They can be used again and again, which reduces the need to produce new pallets and pallet frames. This helps to reduce waste and the environmental impact. We have a comprehensive program for the reuse of pallets and pallet frames. We work with suppliers and customers to ensure that pallets and pallet frames are returned and reused. This program has helped to significantly reduce Invisible Connection's amount of waste.

Renewable energy
Invisible Connection uses electricity from Rauma Energi, which has several local hydroelectric plants. Hydropower is a renewable energy source that produces no emissions, which means it is good for the environment. Hydropower has a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to other energy sources such as coal, oil and natural gas. By utilizing local hydropower, we contribute to the reduction of that climate impact and contribute to meeting global climate targets. By utilizing local hydropower, society can reduce its dependence on imported energy and thus strengthen its energy security.

Local subcontractors
Invisible Connection has a network of local subcontractors who supply semi-finished products and services to the company. This is an important element in the company's sustainability strategy, as it helps to reduce the environmental impact, support the local economy and ensure the quality of the finished goods.

Transportation
We only use reputable carriers that use trucks with Euro 6 engines, which have low emissions. This is an important step in the right direction when it comes to reducing the environmental impact.

Products that enable less use of concrete
Our stair connections enable the production of thinner landings and stairs.
Concrete is one of the most widely used materials in the world, and it has a significant environmental impact. Concrete production requires a lot of energy and produces large amounts of CO2 emissions. By reducing the use of concrete at the element factories, we can help reduce the environmental impact.

Product development
The outer tube in our new connections, TSS/RVK 60 P is made from recycled HDPE plastic, which helps to reduce the environmental impact. HDPE plastic is a strong and durable material that can be recycled several times without losing its properties. By using recycled HDPE plastic in the TSS/RVK 60 P connections, we halve the amount of steel in production. We also contribute to saving energy and reducing emissions of greenhouse gases.
The TSS/RVK 60 P connections are a good example of how sustainable materials can be used to create products that are both environmentally friendly and durable.

Reuse
Our products are designed to be dismantled in the future.
Buildings that are designed to be dismantled are an important part of the circular economy. When a building can be dismantled, the materials in the building can be reused or recycled. This helps to reduce waste and environmental impact.
